With increased industrialization capacity comes the need for responsible management of resources. We at Jaykay Carpet Industries Limited view our responsibility towards the society and our physical environment as part of our internal Key Performance Indicators.
As such, we recently embarked on the utilization of Renewable Energy as a way of reducing the heavy load on the Electricity Grid during peak hours of the day. An initial installed capacity of 150KW is operational with an ongoing installation of additional 100KW to be commissioned.
Solar Energy creates clean, renewable power from the sun and benefits the environment, it also reduces Greenhouse gas (particularly CO2) emissions and in-turn carbon footprint which makes for a cleaner and safer atmosphere for mankind.
